You view things in a very logical, organized manner, which helps you to assimilate information effectively. Your curious nature encourages you to soak up as much knowledge as you can. In love, you're very open with your partner, and expressing your needs and wants keeps misunderstandings to a minimum. While your friends surely appreciate your well-reasoned advice, make sure you don't come across as critical or sarcastic.

Is action your middle name? The planet of Mars, named after the Roman god of war, governs all physical energy, making you a go-getter and a risk taker. You're strong and brave, and your friends count on you for your honesty and straightforwardness. You exude passion, and your fiery nature is often arousing. You're not into emotional drama, and will hightail it out of a heavy or over-analysed relationship. Play, travel, soaking up the nightlife, discussing world cultures -- these things bond you to a partner-in-adventure. It may take awhile before you commit to one person, and your experimental side means you'll be curious about all things sexual. You'll play the field a long time, as part of your overall quest for experience.
You're likely that person who waves to all your "friends" as you're walking down the street. And you're always meeting new ones, because of your outgoing, curious nature. Friendships enlarge your world, and with your global focus, you could end up with friends in every port. You're idealistic, and can be a source of inspiration for others. Some might doubt your sincerity since you cast such a wide net, and more sensitive types can be singed by your blunt honesty. You're compatible with those on the go, ready for adventure, without the need for a whole lot of emotional bonding.
You've got a friendly demeanour that opens doors and makes people take notice. Usually, you're joking and having fun, and people want to be part of that, so they draw near. It's easy for you to get to know people, and this leads to quickly made romantic liaisons. You're someone that can even make dating fun, since you're so light about it all. You may be quick to get intimate, but that doesn't mean you're ready for one partner. Some might not understand your need for complete freedom, mostly from emotional entanglements. The right partner has their own joie de vivre, and is as active as you are.
You're looking for someone that exposes you to new experiences. Your travels might be where you find many of your lovers. In fact, you may even end up with someone from a different culture entirely. You have a tendency to idealize your mate, but it's a long, hard fall for them when they turn out to be less than perfect. It's not hard to win you as a casual partner, but getting you to commit is usually a matter both of timing, and someone having most of the right stuff. It's important to seek out those also seeking adventure, variety, freedom, or you're liable to unwittingly break a few hearts along the way.
In Sagittarius, Venus produces affections that are very demonstrative and friendly. You have a rather carefree attitude toward relationships, and you are not always dependable where affections are concerned.
You are humorous, sociable and even a flirt. Outgoing and personable, you are very friendly and sometimes not too serious. There is a strong love of personal freedom in your nature that makes it a little hard for you to settle down to a restrictive sort of relationship. You feel more comfortable in a relationship when things go slowly, and your partner doesn't get too serious too fast. In fact, you would probably like it better if the relationship stayed casual, and pressures of serious love never emerged. Threats to your freedom make you very nervous. It's hard for you to take you eye off of possible escape routes when things seem to be heating up and you feel yourself being hemmed in.
You are honest and idealistic in your dealings with others. Strong in your beliefs, you must find a partner sharing your views, or you will surely try to convert your chosen to your way of thinking. You don't hold back on your feelings, and it is never hard to figure out you stand on emotional issues.
The key to your romantic nature is friendship. You are upbeat and easy to like. As a friend and lover, you are the ideal partner for that lucky open-minded mate who can accept you on your own terms and respect your need for space.
You may well be an exciting and daring individual but you're not the easiest of people to get romantically involved with. Don't get me wrong, you possess qualities which make you the most likely person to ever get involved in a romantic relationship. You are a doting person, you give so much both emotionally and materially but it is the fact that you are so generous – to a fault even – that your other half can only help but wonder if you really do have deep feelings for them and them alone. There is also the importance you put on your freedom and any would-be partners have to understand your needs in this sense. You hate nothing more than feeling trapped and will often go to great lengths to make sure certain people get the message.
You love variety, and can be given to exaggeration – not because you are intentionally trying to mislead others, but because you have such an expansive vision in matters of the heart.
You are a generous partner, but you are not easily "tied down". You can be easy to companion but not to partner, so to speak. You require space in any kind of partnership, and need a sense of freedom in order to feel comfortable.
Venus in Sagittarius indicates that you are emotionally warm, outgoing and idealistic in your romantic and social dealings. There is a strong need for freedom and you will not be rushed into romantic situations, preferring to make strong friendships before entering into any type of further commitment. Sex and love are only important to you in their correct place at the correct time.
With Venus in Sagittarius you're an artist of life, and cultivate and enjoy the pleasures it has to offer. You love freedom, sports, travel, philosophy and large ideas, and at least the concept of communal living. You're attracted to many people in many walks of life, but tend to avoid commitment in your intimate relationships. Venus in Sagittarius can produce two different character types. One is extravagant, always on the move, loves to gamble, have fun and a good time. The other is idealistic, philosophical or religious, and has great inner strength. In most cases there will be some mixture of the two.
A person with Venus in Sagittarius is social, friendly, extroverted and firmly opinionated. They view love as something of a challenge or a gamble and having a good time is usually of the highest importance. In a relationship they are very carefree but one thing they need is honesty; even when it hurts. They can be very demonstrative and quick to try and fix any problems. However, if the problems get too large or occur too often they are likely to simply walk out. In many ways a Venus in Sagittarius person doesn’t take love very seriously until they fall in love themselves. When they finally do they are extremely idealistic, demanding and easily hurt.
How You Relate to a Partner with Venus in Gemini: Your Venus signs are in opposite signs of the zodiac, but you share some similarities. Both of you are lovers of freedom in your relationships, and neither of you will turn down the chance for a stimulating conversation. Although there isn't always a "meeting of minds" between you two, there definitely will be some passionate discussions. Both you and your partner are somewhat restless, neither lasting long in a relationship that is confining or stuffy. You tend to be more passionate than your partner in terms of beliefs and visions, sometimes to the point of expecting your lover to adopt the same belief systems, but you share a common love of fun and humour in love. Unless there are strong supporting aspects in synastry, the relationship may be broken impulsively. Both of you benefit from a partner who grounds you and reminds you of the long term. You may not find these qualities in each other. You value honesty from a lover, while your partner values mental exchanges, period. Restlessness in partnership is something you both share, and it's best that you try to channel that energy into shared activities, such as travelling, instead of finding holes in your relationship. Remembering that opposites often do attract, this relationship is certainly workable if neither of you clings to your ways self-righteously. Learning from each other, and trying to strike a balance, will pay off. Together, you can easily become inspired.

Sun in Capricorn
Capricorn is, above all, determined. Persistence is your creed and you are happiest when in control or managing something practical. The Sun placed here must create a personal distinction by fulfilling the obligations and conditions necessary for a solid and significant achievement. It has to be enduring. Disciplined and ambitious, you take life seriously. You are far-sighted and purposeful, and don't mind denying yourself a few comforts while you work toward the goal of Success. Having a sense of structure is very important, for you recognise that only through careful planning can we manifest our aims. Capricorn is the business head of the zodiac, and the very opposite of emotional Cancer. Given to clear ambition, practical insight and vision, Capricorn always takes a distanced perspective and a cool appraisal. Deliberate and painstaking, sometimes to the point of austerity, Capricorn loves work and the hard-earned results. Status and material reward are very important.
Sun Conjunct Moon
Unites the ego and emotion. Great emotional strength and the tendency toward independence and ambition. Yin (male) and yang (female) energies are well integrated and easily drawn upon. Self-motivated and autonomous to a high degree. Well focussed and confident in pursuing goals. Prefers the security of doing it ones self to relying on the actions of others and enjoys the satisfaction of acting in harmony with the feelings.
Sun Sextile Pluto
A real talent for working with sensitive material and touching upon the more vulnerable areas of life. Able to handle 'delicate' matters without breaking stride, for emotional and tender areas of the human psyche don't phase. Enjoys getting beneath the surface and has an innate savvy for handling touchy subjects. Perfect aspect for any research investigation or detective work.
Sun Square Mars
A born doer and person of action. The ego is strong, energetic, assertive and extroverted. There is an incredible drive to accomplish and achieve in life which pushes straight-on toward whatever goals are in mind. Ambitions are backed-up by the will to get things done, but can be very driven to the point of being too aggressive. There is a strong need for physical outlet. This aspect fosters heroism and valor with much activity being directed toward self-expression.
Dreams and visions are reality. High ideals and an ability to enchant with words and images. There is concern with the true mysteries of existence. Lives with no boundaries between the self and the environment. At home in the 'transcendental' realm; the most crucial experiences of life happen internally in the form of deeply sensitive perceptions. There is also a great affinity for music and poetry.
Moon in Capricorn
Yours is the most practical of environments. You can manipulate every idea or situation and put it to good use toward your own advancement. Emotions are seldom a priority to the extent that you may even appear emotionally cold. You are sophisticated and, for the most part, unmoved by tears and sentiments, preferring to pour your emotional time and energy into realising your future plans and ambitions. You shine in situations which require detachment and cool assessment or where others are in emotional turmoil.
Moon Sextile Pluto
Feelings are deep and profound. A natural psychological ability, particularly when it comes to working with the public. Can handle emotional and personal issues (vulnerable areas) very well. People sense this and trust you with sensitive matters, inner worries and questions of personal identity. A real sense of purpose. The theme of re-birth is often prevalent in the life.
Moon Square Mars
Energized emotions. Can be a real moving force in the lives of others. A natural group leader or trainer; vitality and drive are communicated to all in close contact, especially the young. Emotional enthusiasm is strong. Puts a lot of energy and effort into surroundings and the domestic environment, but home life may also be plagued with quarrels. Moral courage.
Lives in the feelings. Inspiring and magnificently compassionate. Strong idealization of the family, past and traditional matters. Most imaginative when it comes to spirituality and psychology. Entrancing to others with an ability to draw them into a world of imagination and dreams. A high floater and full-blown dreamer, complete with built-in psychic abilities and probably given to visions.
Mercury in Aquarius
Original and clever, you thrive mentally on the abstract and dialectical. You are an impartial thinker, democratic to the point of being impersonal, and fascinated by the latest technology. Mercury is very much at home in this sign and it often produces the most innovative thinkers and inventors. Always thinking of the world as a unity, you are idealistic and believe in putting into practice what is preached. Group-conscious and future-oriented, often witty, quick and chatty, you find it easy to see through large concepts and schemes. When it comes to 'mindgames', others would find it you to be a most worthy opponent.
Venus in Sagittarius
Not prudish, you insist on freedom of expression in all things. You love great ideas and travel. This makes you well-suited to international business and anything having to do with acquiring a broader understanding - higher education and the like. An idealist of the first degree, you are honest and frank, preferring the truth to any brand of flattery. Risky ventures will appeal.
Venus Trine Mars
You love to work with younger people and would make a superb teacher or coach. You appreciate a heart-felt approach and are an enthusiast if there ever was one. You understand and encourage emotions, feelings and creativity and find it easy to work in these areas. You value drive and the ability to get things done. Matters of the heart, marriage, and the like are areas where you can help others.
Venus Conjunct Uranus
You cherish whatever is different and out of the ordinary. The commonplace and the humdrum are not for you. Your friends and surroundings -- everything around you -- must be unconventional to the point of being controversial. You could care less what others think, and this independence is your passion. The way you show affection may also be unusual, and your partners are certainly nonconformist. You set a high value on being different.
Mars in Aries
You are powerfully motivated, even driven, have a hot temper, and tend to be impulsive. You are seldom very reflective when it comes to doing something, but act first and ask questions later. Your more fiery emotions are always an insult away. You have blind courage and sheer guts. Aggressive, a self-starter, energetic.
Jupiter in Taurus
You have a green thumb in many areas, able to cultivate and nurture almost any endeavour. Making money is second nature, and you are able to field ideas and bring forth growth and success. Because of your natural affinity for supporting roles, you make a good financial backer or 'money man.' More than most, you could reap a rich harvest from what you sow, for luck enters your life through giving out and expecting a return.
Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Neptune
With you, dreams and ideals have become a way of life. You seek to bring them down to earth and make them real. You will, as the song says, never let your dreams depart. Yours is a path of imagination and vision, perhaps leading to a career in music, mysticism, or the arts. You understand the forest behind the trees and the unity beyond all separateness.
Saturn in Capricorn
You have a tendency to avoid taking charge or responsibility and may need to accept a more disciplined and serious approach to life. Learn to enjoy hard work. Persevere. Learn how to manage. You may feel uncomfortable when in the public eye or may have a problem with 'authority'. The solution here is to become an authority yourself.
You may have difficulty letting go and being imaginative. Your no-nonsense, practical approach makes subjects like the unity of life, ideals, and dreamy stuff hard for you to take. However, your dreams and ideals are very important to you, and you methodically go about putting them into practice. You have little interest in the spirituality and psychologies that are rampant today. You see through that and value the essential unity behind all religions. You could bring imagination and religious understanding to physical and scientific studies.
Saturn Conjunct Uranus
You find it difficult to be spontaneous, to get away from routine and do something different. Others see in you a creature of routine. Travel may also be hard for you. It is not easy for you to change or to accept changes. When you do enact a change, it is always at the deepest or core level and affects everything else in your life. Once a change is made, it at once becomes a part of you, solid and immovable. Those near you may feel that you inhibit the proverbial "life of the party." Code, computer programming, and the like should interest you.
Uranus in Capricorn
You are innovative in the political and business arena. You find new ways to manage and control things and people. Ever practical, you come up with new or alternate forms of management -- breakthroughs in top-level management and corporate styles. You bring new life to conservative traditions.
Secrets have a short half-life around you, for you have them out in a wink of an eye. You are brilliant when it comes to insights into the mind, psychology, and motivation -- yours or others'. Your intensity is obvious, and some may prefer to keep their distance rather than subject themselves to your laser eye. Nothing is passed over without being turned inside and out. Your analytical powers are superb, and you enjoy finding new avenues of inner growth.
The practical is the ideal. Form follows function. You have a dream of being in control - the puppetmaster. You are very interested in tradition and tend to be dignified and conservative. You believe in an orderly society led by benevolent monarchs - those who can see what to do.
You work with real imagination and understanding in areas of the mind that are the most personal or private -- depth psychology. You are like a midwife of the spirit, assisting at the birth of each individual going through a spiritual or re-birth process. You accept the natural process of birth, spiritual and physical, and have dedicated yourself to helping it along. You would make a great teacher in these areas.
Pluto in Scorpio
You tear through appearances in an effort to get beneath, behind, and at the heart or essence. You may find psychology, initiation, mysticism and the occult of great interest. Intense personal change and inner growth are lifelong habits.
Sagittarius on the 1st House Cus
Sagittarius is nothing if not direct, candid, and to the point, for this sign is always concerned with the absolute truth of the subject at hand. Saturn in the 2nd House
You could be frugal when it comes to possessions, always limiting your purchases to what is essential and has value. This same theme carries through in your response to people. You don't tend to lavish affection or sentiment. You keep it short and simple. You don't waste words, and communications tend to be short and to-the-point. You are very determined and deliberate when it comes to mental work and would make an excellent researcher or scientist. You concentrate on what is essential.
Uranus in the 2nd House
You may have unusual ways of responding to what life offers you, with the result that the way you make your living is somewhat eccentric. Your means of support may be individualistic and different from the group.
You are very idealistic when it comes to possessions, finance, and how you choose to make your living. Your response to what life offers you is always very elevated, although not always practical. This could lead to some disappointments.
Aquarius on the 3rd House Cusp
Aquarius, the sign of humanitarian goals and altruism. Always impartial and nonsectarian, Aquarian energy is communal (even global). The focus is on the goal, and the goal is always one that is for the many and not the few. Thus this sign is connected to far-seeing visions, world views and group work of all kinds. This sign tends towards coolness, independence.
Pisces on the 4th House Cusp
Pisces energy runs deep and toward the mystical -- whatever transcends the everyday world. This sign is understanding, patient and compassionate. Super-sensitive, it tends to absorb it's surroundings like a sponge. The sign is very trusting, accepting and giving of itself for the sake of more important issues. It loves free-ranging activities which allow for some imaginative scope.
Aries on the 5th House Cusp
Aries is the sign of pioneers, leaders and 'firsts'. It is impulsive, assertive and spontaneous. It tends to act first, only thinking about what it may have done later. Rushing in where others fear to tread, Aries energy is attention-getting and always provokes a response from the surroundings and from others. It takes decisive action and loves self-reliance.
Mars in the 5th House
You are driven to excel in any form of physical and creative expression--sports, theatrics, arts and crafts, whatever. This urge to express yourself, to speak out and be heard, propels you into many an interesting situation.
Taurus on the 6th House Cusp
Taurus is about drawing on the bounty of the earth, and seeking material security and physical safety there. It is the on-going, enduring, unchanging and preserving element. Hightened sensory input is also important, for it is the mission of this sign to not only find a sense of place within the material realm, but to enjoy it to the fullest, becoming physically aware of, and bonding with the environment.
Jupiter in the 6th House
A career in one of the service or health occupations is possible, for you may find yourself automatically taking care of the needs of others. Your occupation involves health, food, and all attempts to restore, salvage, and make the best out of things.
Gemini on the 7th House Cusp

Cancer on the 8th House Cusp
Cancer is the mother of the zodiac, always making a home, protecting and providing a foundation for others. A sensitive sign where feelings and real experience count more than cold logic, it doesn't get any more physical and emotional than this. Cancer energy is always nurturing, sensitive, tender and moody. It feeds on emotional comforts, and often has a strong attachment to the past and ancestry.
Leo on the 9th House Cusp

Virgo on the 10th House Cusp
Virgo energy is analytical and precise, always separating out what is worthwhile and worth supporting from that which is outmoded and of no further use. A mental earth sign, here the mind takes control over matter. This is the sign of 'ways and means', implementation, instrumentation, physical effectiveness and efficiency. Virgo energy is always facilitating, often caring more for others than for itself.
Libra on the 11th House Cusp
Libra energy is always responsive and conciliating, assuming the appropriate reaction or delicately-weighted strategic response to any question or statement. Impersonal and impartial, this sign doles out only what is demanded - nothing overdone, but nothing neglected.
Pluto in the 12th House

To the Bosnian guy who asked if I was married -- MYOB.
To the Sri Lankan guy who followed me off the train -- not cool.
And last but not least, to the sweaty Aussie plumber -- just because a girl is alone doesn't mean she's lonely, get it right.

Here I was thinking that I was well and truly done in the relationship department - half due to responsibility of others and half due to reasons of my own - then this year turns out to be nothing but full-on in what I have considered a finished business of which I've never really started. I have successfully fought off 6 bachelor/ettes and am beginning to feel really tired. Must I live constantly in restraint and give up friendships because some just won't take no for an answer? Must I put on a hostile face to guard off romantic attentions? Must I make myself inapproachable in order to fence off the world?
It's driving me insane, I mean, can't a girl be single these days? Can't a girl choose and therefore stay that way? Can't guys get it through their thick heads that not all girls are good girlfriend material - or care or want to be - and that some are really off-the-table? I have had girls look at me through rose-coloured lenses but they weren't half as desperate, clingy or, to put it plainly, just damn annoying!
I know I've always been a believer of self-adaptation instead of forcing change from society, but it's ridiculous how after 6 long battles, I'm still not seeing an end to it all. There just continues to be strands of lonely people who think the whole world is like them. For the last time: I'm not! Stay away!

I was climbing up the station stairs this morning when this middle-aged guy approached me with the all-too-familiar line “Do you have some change?”
Now I was in this highly charitable mood and since I had my wallet right there in my palm anyway, I didn’t hesitate. I unzipped it and picked all my coins out – a $2 gold coin, a $1 gold coin and a 20c silver coin – and handed it over. He said “thanks” and explained it was for a train ticket that will cost $3.70 and I laughed saying “no worries” as I proceeded to buy my own weekly ticket which would cost me $14.50. Aside from the change I just gave to this nameless stranger, I had $15 for my weekly ticket and $100 to buy my textbooks with. So as I stood getting my own ticket, I caught him watching me as if my job wasn’t quite done. I guess I pitied him then. So I decided I would, as ancient saying, help him to the end.
I walked back to him after I got my 50c change and said, “Here, now you have your ticket.” He took it and looked at my wallet, “Do you have any more for me to buy something to eat later?” I followed his gaze and saw the two fifties neatly folded in the inside pocket of my wallet and realised for the first time that he had not appreciated my help at all. In fact, he was practically drooling over my money with greed.
“No, I need that to buy my textbooks later.” I told him.
“Any more silver coins?” He pushed on.
“No.” I said, getting annoyed. “Have a nice day.”
Without waiting for him to answer, to ask for more or to curse me or thank me, I walked on, catching the curious stares from people in the line I had left behind to help a heartless bastard.
Ok I know it’s just $3.70 and it’s not like that is an extraordinary act of kindness or generosity, but it is my money, not the freaking government’s or pocket money from my rents. You don’t have to act like I’ve just saved your life or say “God bless you child” or even thank me more than once. But gratitude should be obvious when someone bothers to help you out in your time of need!
I think this is it. This is why people are becoming more and more selfish. This is why less and less people reach out to others. This is why the “rich” continues to watch the “poor” suffer without feeling any sense of guilt. Because they really probably did deserve it.
I probably will not give money to strangers again in a long time.

I have never identified with anything more! The term pansexual generally is used for a person who does not classify their sexuality with a person's sex, but their gender. They believe that there is a set difference between sex and gender - gender being the socially constructed condition of being male or female, and sex being the biological condition of male or female. People who are pansexual may be attracted to various different forms of romance, and may be aroused by various different acts of sex on a carnal level. Some suggest that pansexuality is more accurately described by its adepts: human- or person-oriented. Despite a person who is pansexual's fluid sexuality, some may have a preference. A person who is pansexual may be attracted to all genders and sexes, but have a preference, (for example) for pre-operative transsexual people, other people who are pansexuals, masculine lesbians, intersexed people, etc. Many people who identify as pansexual may associate with people of all sexual orientations, but are not necessarily interested in sex with people of all sexes or genders. For some people who are pansexual, biological sex is a secondary factor, something that will be discovered if and when sexual interaction takes place. People who are pansexual usually consider any sexual act acceptable as long as it is consensual.
Pansexuality (sometimes referred to as omnisexuality) is a sexual orientation characterized by the potential for aesthetic attraction, romantic love and/or sexual desire for people regardless of their gender identity or biological sex. This includes potential attraction to people who do not fit into the gender binary of male/female implied by bisexual attraction. Pansexuality is sometimes described as the capacity to love a person romantically irrespective of gender. Some pansexuals also assert that gender and sex are meaningless to them. The word pansexual is derived from the Greek prefix pan-, meaning "all".
Romance, attraction and preferences
